The H.E.R.M.E.S.-Universities Network has been appointed by the “Academy of Behavioral Finance and Economics” (AoBF&E) as European Partner for the creation of the “Academy of Entrepreneurial Finance” in Europe.
The aim of the Academy is to offer an innovative platform in which academics, professionals and government officials can introduce their works regarding the entrepreneurial and small business finance.
The purpose of the agreement consists in promoting the activities of the “Academy of Entrepreneurial Finance” all around Europe, and coordinate them with those managed by the Institute of Entrepreneurship in Treviso.
The activities in which these entities will collaborate could be summarize in three key points:
Prof. Guido Mantovani, who was initially invited to act for AoBF&E, will be Executive Director of the board along with Ali Fatemi (De Paul University, Chicago) and Russell Yazdipour (Academy of Behavioral Finance & Economics) for the first three year of the project
Proff. Hans-Peter Burghof (Hohenheim University), Giorgio Bertinetti (Ca’ Foscari University), Marie-Helene Broihanne (EM Strasbourg), Daniela Maresch (Johannes Kepler Universitaet) and Hans Landström (Lund University) have been involved in the editorial board of the journals along with Prof. Andrea Moro (Cranfield University) who was appointed as co-Editor in chief.
A Scientific Board is to be definitively appointed by the end of the year 2015.
Regarding the first point, is already being organized the first European Annual Conference that will take place in Venice from 14th to 16th of March 2016, titled “Frontiers of Small Business and Entrepreneurial Finance in a Global Environment”.
