Hans J. Tümmers   HERMES Universities mourns the passing of Prof. Dr Hans J. Tümmers on 31 August 2026 at the age of 82. As director of the Institut d'Études Commerciales Supérieures (one of the two parts merging in 2007 into EM Strasbourg Business School), Prof. Dr Hans J. Tümmers was instrumental in creating the HERMES network in November 1997. We shall fondly remember him as a passionate European and pioneer of international higher education.
